Alfonso Gravalos

With more than thirty years of performance in the corporative world always in multinationals, he developed his career mainly in the Industrial areas, Quality and Project Management, having worked as Director for more than ten years.  

Graduated as Mechanical Engineer - FEI - 1980, he is also MBA in Project Management - Fundação Getúlio Vargas - where he also works as professor in Post Graduation courses.

He also got Administration formation in INSEAD (France) and in FAAP - Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado.

Internal auditor by Bureau Véritas, he has several formations in Motivation and Leadership / Failure Analysis / Value Analysis / Reliability / Quality / Japanese Techniques of Administration and Manufacture (JIT, Kanban, Set Up, 5S, etc.) and several courses focused in communication, motivation and team management.

Alfonso has also Technical formation as Mechanical Technician by Escola Técnica Federal de São Paulo.

During his career he developed and coordinated several projects of technology transfer, factory implantation, expansion projects, nationalization of equipments, and analysis of investments, among others. He was part of the Lean implementing core team as trainer, coach and teams' facilitator. 

Alfonso developed and applied innumerous trainings and workshops in Quality. He has in his portfolio a list of results and conquests in Quality through non quality reduction programs, evolution in the quality performance perceived by customers, certifications, etc. as well as in the Industrial area where he implemented programs of costs reduction. He also obtained success in the transfer and implementation of new technologies, "relayout" projects, new investments, nationalizations, departments restructuring, among other results.

He was responsible for the implementation of the Projects Management culture and a program with the objective to implement the “Business Management” culture in the Industrial Department.

At the present time Alfonso works as independent consultant and professor.

He is partner of AGX Solutions, Business Consultancy, Training and Development Ltd.
